Traxis Label Printer — Chrome Extension

What This Extension Does

Traxis Label Printer adds buttons to pages within our company's ProShop ERP system. The buttons perform two functions: (1) render a product label and send it to a Brother label printer on our local network, and (2) queue a purchase-order request for a consumable, tool, or part to an internal purchasing service on our local network for manual approval. These are the extension's only functions.

Data We Collect

None — no data leaves our local network. This extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or browsing information with any third party. Specifically:

• No analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind.
• No cookies are set by the extension.
• No data is sent to any public-internet server, cloud service, or external endpoint.
• No user accounts, registration, or sign-in.

Data the Extension Reads

The extension reads product information solely from pages on our company's private ProShop ERP instance:

• Label rendering — work-order numbers, customer PO numbers, material descriptions, part numbers, tool IDs, equipment names, COTS identifiers, and user names.
• Purchase-order queueing — the entity identifier (e.g. tool number or COTS code), the quantity entered by the user in a browser prompt, and (when visible on the page) the unit cost, brand, and supplier name.

This data is used only to render the label image in the browser tab or to send the purchase-order request to our internal purchasing service. It is never stored by the extension and never transmitted beyond the local network.

Network Communication

The extension communicates with exactly three hosts, all declared in the manifest:

• traxismfg.adionsystems.com — Our company's ProShop ERP instance. The extension reads page DOM and, for some label types, queries the ProShop GraphQL API using the user's existing session cookie.
• 10.1.1.242:5002 — A Brother PT-P700 label printer service on our private LAN. Rendered label images are POSTed here for printing. This address is not reachable from the public internet.
• 10.1.1.71:5003 — An internal purchasing-queue service on our private LAN. Purchase-order requests (entity ID, quantity, optional cost/brand/vendor) are POSTed here for review and approval by authorized staff. This address is not reachable from the public internet.

Permissions

• Host permissions — Scoped to (a) our ProShop ERP domain, (b) our internal label-printer service, and (c) our internal purchasing-queue service. The extension cannot access any other websites or services.

Who Uses This Extension

This extension is published as unlisted on the Chrome Web Store and is intended solely for use by employees of Traxis Manufacturing on company shop-floor computers. It is not marketed to or intended for public use.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL. The extension's scope and data practices are narrow and unlikely to change beyond adding additional internal-LAN destinations as our shop's internal tooling expands.
